Tally integration

Purchase invoices into TallyPrime, without the typing.

Tally runs the books of more Indian businesses than any other system, and purchase invoices are still keyed into it by hand. Calibre reads each supplier invoice, checks the GSTIN, tax and arithmetic, and posts the voucher to TallyPrime or Tally.ERP 9 against the right party and GST ledgers.

Kept in sync

What Calibre reads from Tally.

  • Party ledgers, with GSTINs
  • Purchase and expense ledgers
  • GST ledgers for CGST, SGST, IGST and cess
  • Cost centres
  • Godowns and stock items, where you use them
  1. 1

    The right ledgers, every time

Each line posts to the purchase or expense ledger you used for that vendor before, with the matching GST ledgers.

  2. 2

GST checked before it reaches Tally

GSTIN check digit, state and tax type are verified first, so an inter-state invoice never posts with CGST and SGST.

  3. 3

    TallyPrime and Tally.ERP 9

The same connector serves both, whether your Tally runs on one machine or on a server.

FAQ

Tally questions

Does Calibre work with Tally.ERP 9 as well as TallyPrime?

Yes. Calibre connects to both and posts purchase vouchers with the party, purchase and GST ledgers your books already use.

Do we need to change how our Tally is set up?

No. Calibre reads your existing ledgers and maps each vendor to them, so your chart of accounts stays as it is.
